Occupational therapy
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy involves the therapeutic use of work, self-care, and activities to increase independent function, enhance development, and prevent disability. It may include adaptation of tasks or the environment in order to achieve maximum independence and to enhance quality of life.
Our occupational therapists recognise the unique lifestyles and preferences of their patients. By teaching people to adapt and by modifying the environment they can assist people to participate in everyday activities.
